I'm Almost Free!

It's been a long time since I've blogged, but no apologies on my end, Lindy! I've been super busy here in California.
RAIN...So, it's been raining here straight for almost 5 days. When I say rain, I don't mean thunderstorms and sun-showers. I mean just grey clouds and rain falling from the sky. No excitement. Although, on Friday night, I saw 2 flashes of what looked like lightening, and I hear what sounded like thunder rumble through the sky once...but then it could have been a really big truck. I am so sick of this rain. CA is not used to this much rain, and it is very evident everywhere you look. Because it's supposed to be dry here most of the time, there is nowhere for the water to go when it rains. The streets are flooded, the hills are sliding down in mudslides, the people don't know what to do. I don't think it is a law in California that you have to turn on your headlights when you have your windshield wipers, like it is in Illinois. It's a good law, though, and most people out here don't do it. California is full of STUPID drivers!
VALENTINE'S DAY...So, Valentine's was a week ago. I hope everyone had a good one! I did. I won't go into detail, but I can tell a little bit of what went on in the Gordon household. Justin took me to see Hitch, which I've been dying to go see! It was an awesome movie!
I got a 2 lb. bag of my favorite jelly bellies for one of my presents. On the way to the movie, Justin and I ate a few, but not many because we were going to have dinner before the movie. After the movie, we went home and I guess we just put the bag on the counter. When I got home from work the next day, I found the bag empty on the floor! Chandler, our big black lab, had eaten every bit of the leftover Jelly Bellies. Needless to say, he was sick for 3 days. I felt bad for him, but at the same time I felt he deserved to be sick after eating all my Jelly Bellies. Justin was mad, too, because the flavors that he picked out were some of my favorite, but they are also his favorite. He didn't pick the flavors that are just my favorite! So selfish...but I gotta love him!
JOB FRONT...I have a new job!!!!! I have a new job!!!!! I have a new job!!!!! I think you can see how excited I am about my new job. I start on Monday, February 28th. My last day here at the Hilton is on Wednesday, February 23rd. I am going to take a long weekend and get ready for Monday! I'm the new Account Coordinator for a company called P3. TIMMY'S BACK...Justin and I got a phone call from Tim Stewart the other day! He's home, safe and sound from Iraq! Tim, if you're reading this...it's good to have you home! When are you coming out here to visit us?
